NACIS: 2012 Map Off Ninkasi

Arguably one of the best microbreweries the country, Ninkasi Brewing Company hails from Eugene and has never disappointed this cartographer/remodeler's palette. Not only do they produce excellent beverages, use high quality ingredients and design the best tap handles around, they also have a corporate policy to Perpetuate Better Living. This is exemplified through their Beer is Love program wherein they sponsor in-kind support for local groups, teams, organizations and donations to registered 501(c)3 non-profits. This Map Off entails designing a poster-sized map of all the locations Ninkasi has made donations over the years. The ~180 locations are spread throughout the Pacific Northwest in Oregon, Washington, N. California, Idaho, Montana and Alaska are available for download below as geocoded points.

This zipped shapefile contains Ninkasi's main logo, their Beer is Love logo (x2), and a shapefile of all the locations to be mapped.

Participants are welcome to design their maps in any fashion, however both their main logo and the Beer is Love logo must be used.

Electronic submissions in PDF format are due by midnight on Sunday, September 30th.
